Emily Charlton Garden Design

Emily Charlton Garden Design is a new garden design studio, currently in development.

I am completing the final stage of my professional garden design training, with commissions opening in early 2027.

My work will focus on thoughtful, naturalistic gardens with climate resilience and biodiversity at their core — gardens that feel settled, atmospheric and deeply connected to the surrounding landscape.
 

Based in Devon, I will be working with private clients across Devon, Cornwall and Somerset, creating elegant outdoor spaces for country houses, coastal homes, rural retreats and character properties.
 

My approach brings together considered layout, generous planting, seasonal texture and a love of gardens that feel both beautiful and alive.
